Founded in 1974, by Robert Blais, as a family run business in Rouyn-Noranda, Location Blais (Blais Rentals) initially targeted a local market. Operations began with only four employees on the payroll.
Today, thanks to the quality of our products and the increasing needs of our clientele, our company has expanded its horizons offering a greater diversity of products for sale and for rent and by providing shipping to further destinations. With over 17 million dollars in inventory, we are one of the biggest rental stores in Québec.
We now have over forty professional employees specializing in their respective departments. They are specialists in rentals, in sales of heavy machinery and sales of world-wide big brands of tools.
Thanks to the variety of our products and the expertise of our employees, we have become a leader in the field of equipment rental. Whether it is in North, Central or South America, or even Africa, we can provide expertise in sales & equipment rental.
We now offer a mobile workforce to both mining and construction sites. Providing onsite management and coordination of tools and equipment, sales & rental, tailored to the needs of the worksite; mining or construction. In addition, we can provide onsite mechanics to maintain and service the mobile equipment.
